This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and revenue officials in order to measure the land in survey No.1310/1 situate at Maraneri Village Sivakasi Taluk Virudhunagar District on the basis of his complaint to the 1st respondent dated 31.03.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State. Mr.S.Maruthu Pandian, Sub-Inspector of Police, Maraneri Police Station, Virudhunagar District is present. On instructions, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, both the petitioner and the 3rd respondent were called for enquiry and during enquiry, it was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

found that the dispute was essentially civil in nature and therefore, the same was closed on 17.04.2017 by advising the parties to work out their remedy before the Civil Court.
