ORDER

[Made by R.VIJAYAKUMAR, J.] The present writ petition has been filed challenging a sale notice issued by the respondent bank. As per the sale notice, due as on date of sale notice is Rs.29,56,185.72 (Rupees Twenty Nine Lakhs Fifty Six Thousand One Hundred and Eight Five & Paise Seventy Two Only). The sale is proposed to be held on 25.04.2022.

2. Considering the fact that the property brought to auction is the residential house of the petitioner, we pass the following order:- 2.1 The petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.7.5 lakhs on or before 22.04.2022 before the respondent bank. 2.2 The petitioner shall deposit another sum of Rs.7.5 lakhs on or before 18.05.2022 before the respondent bank. 2.3 In case of any default in any one of the instalment, the bank is entitled to proceed further under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002.

3. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition would not survive.
