ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner / sole accused, who was arrested on 17.08.2016 for offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 323, 342 and 307 @ 302 IPC in Crime No.368 of 2016 on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased. Due to some matrimonial dispute, the petitioner pushed the deceased in bathroom and poured kerosene upon her and set fire and locked the bathroom.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ petitioner is in custody for more than 47 days.

5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) strongly objected for granting bail and also submitted that investigation is pending. 6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond in a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Nagercoil, and on condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent Police daily at 10.00 a.m until further orders.
