The order of suspension, dated 05.02.2021, issued by the second respondent, is under challenge in this writ petition.

2. The petitioner was working as Chief Ankanwadi Centre Servant and a criminal case was registered against her and she was arrested in Crime No.33 of 2021, on the file of Devakottai Taluk Police Station, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 324, 506(2) I.P.C., and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

3. On receipt of information regarding registration of the criminal case, the impugned order of suspension was issued by the second respondent and the petitioner was placed under suspension as she was arrested with reference to the above criminal case. Under these circumstances, subject to the investigation and filing of charge sheet, the respondents shall review the impugned suspension order in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Government.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
