This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction against the respondents No.2 to 4 to relieve the petitioner from the Sivagiri Police Station in order to joint duty at the Greater Chennai Office based on the transfer order issued by the first respondent dated 04.01.2024.

2. However, pending writ petition, an order has been passed cancelling the transfer order. Hence, the petitioner was compelled to challenge the proceedings by way of filing Writ Petition in W.P.(MD).No.7339 of 2024.

3. In view of the above stated reasons, the subject matter that was agitated in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
