The Petitioner herein seeks for a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation, dated 02.07.2022 seeking sub-division and issuance of separate patta. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.According to the Petitioner, he purchased 17 cents of land in S.No.165/1A1A in Muthakurichi Village, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District under Sale deed, dated 3.2.2021. Based on the said document, the Petitioner submitted a representation seeking sub-division and issuance of separate patta. Thee same has not 2/5

been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.The second respondent herein claims that he owns 44 cents of land in the very same survey number. Therefore the second respondent should also be heard by the official respondent.

5.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate who appears for the first respondent would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 6.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the Petitioner, dated 02.07.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner and second respondent within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

7.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
