ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.24 of 2016 within the stipulated time. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even though F.I.R has been registered as early as on 21.03.2016, the second respondent did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the second respondent requires six months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.24 of 2016.

investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.24 of 2016 before the Court concerned within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
