ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the Respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the Petitioner and his family members on the basis of his Representation dated 04.02.2023

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that based upon the representation given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, it was found that due to the property dispute between the parties, suit, appeal and writ petition have been filed by the parties and the same are still pending. Thereafter, the further action has been dropped.

3. After going through the entire records, it appears that due to the property dispute between the parties, continuous trouble arose between them several cases are filed and are still pending in various Courts.

4. Since the further action has been dropped, at this stage, the question of granting police protection does not arise. 2/4

5. This Court does not find any merits in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
