The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents/Tahsildar, Vilathikulam Taluk and Taluk Surveyor, Vilathikulam to conduct survey in the lands in S.F.No.122 Sub Divisions-1A1, 2A, 2C, 3A, 3B1, 4A, 4B2 and S.F.No. 123 Sub Division -2B, 2C1, 3, 4A, 5A, 6A, 7A with an extent of 2 Hectares and 71 Ares (6 acres and 70 cents) Pallakulam Village, 2.Heard Ms.R.Jegadeeswari, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.The petitioner is residing in the said address. The father of the petitioner had purchased the land by a registered sale deed in Doc.No. 297/2005, dated 10.03.2005 registered in the office of the Sub Registrar, Vilathikulam. The petitioner claims that he is in possession. The 2/4
petitioner had filed an application for survey of the lands. 4.A direction is issued to the respondents to examine the application filed, issue notice to the petitioner herein and after examining whether there are any disputes among the adjacent land owners, proceed to survey the land. The said exercise should be completed within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
