Heard, Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Muthu Vijayan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. 2.The impugned order in Mu.Mu.A2/1922/2022, dated 09.11.2022, passed by the third respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Lalgudi Post has an appeal provision, which is stated in the order itself that within a period of 30 days, appeal should be filed before the concerned District Revenue Officer.

3.The writ petition has been filed only on 15.03.2023, much after the limitation period. It is for the petitioner to explain about the delay and 2/5

give necessary reason. At the earliest, the petitioner can file an appeal before the concerned District Revenue Officer and explain the delay. The only period which could be set off by the Court is from the date of filing of writ petition (ie.,15.03.2023) till today (21.03.2023). 3.Since there is an appeal provision, I am not entering into any discussion in any of the averments stated in the petition. 4.A direction is issued to the petitioner to file an appeal before the District Revenue Officer, Trichy.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 21.03.2023 NCS : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet: Yes/ No PNM 3/5
