Though, initially we are of the opinion that the respondent-bank can be directed to accept the payment made by the writ petitioner towards an One Time Settlement, after hearing the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent-bank, we are of the view that such direction cannot be issued, because the property has been sold and a third party had purchased the property on 31.03.2021 and the sale certificate has already been issued.

3. Therefore, we give liberty to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings initiated against him before the appropriate forum, if so advised.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
