ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324, 506(ii) and 109 of IPC, in Crime No.282 of 2016, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The Case of the prosecution is that the petitioners and others attacked the defacto complainant and also threatened him with dire consequences.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he is an engineering student and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and his name has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A5 and the injured is discharged. A3 was already released on bail and A1 and A2 were enlarged on anticipatory bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the injured is discharged, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with the following condition. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakkottai within a period of 10 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, and on his executing a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the Trial Court once in a week i.e. on every Sunday at 10 a.m. until further orders. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
