ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the first respondent to instruct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent Police frequently called the petitioner to the Police Station and harassed him under the guise of enquiry. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that petition enquiry is pending against the petitioners and the petitioners are not appearing before the respondent for enquiry and that the respondent Police did not cause any harassment to the petitioner. However, he gave an undertaking that if at all the presence of the petitioners is required, the respondent would call the petitioners for enquiry only after issuing summons giving specific date, time and place.

5. The learned Counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are ready to appear before the respondent police for enquiry.

6.Recording the above undertaking given by the learned Government Advocate and the learned Counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
