ORDER
The petitioner challenges the concurrent findings of the revenue authorities rejecting the application of the petitioner for transfer of patta from the petitioner's grand-mother's name. The authorities have throughout rejected the petitioner's application on the ground that the 2/5
petitioner himself admits that a forged sale deed had been created as if the petitioner's grandmother Alagammal had sold the property.
2. In the light of the admitted allegation made by the writ petitioner, I do not find fault with the authorities for rejecting the petitioner's application, clearly giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court. Therefore, the petitioner if aggrieved by the alienation of the property allegedly by the petitioner's grandmother under the forged sale deed, it would be open to the petitioner to seek recourse for the competent Civil Court.
3. Giving liberty to the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No 17.03.2025 am 3/5
