The petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to grant police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the petition enquiry is pending.

4.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this petition is disposed of. The second respondent shall take action as per law on the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2016 and pass final orders within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on merits and in accordance with law.
