PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission to the afore said Adal Padal Program to be held on 15.04.2022 at about 06.00 PM to be conducted at the Arulmighu Sri Nalla Muthu Mariamman Temple at Vairavapuram Village , Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District , based on the Petitioners representation dated 05.04.2022.

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to take appropriate action, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2022. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police submitted that while celebrating festival at Arulmighu Sri Nalla Muthu Mariamman Temple at Vairavapuram Village, Karaikudi taluk, Sivagangai District, there was dispute between two groups and the second respondent has registered three cases, against the petitioner group and rival group. If any permission is granted to conduct Adal Padal programme on 15.04.2022, there will be law and order between two groups.

WP(MD). No.6615 of 2022 3.Considering the said submissions, the representation submitted by the petitioner on 05.04.2022, cannot be considered and this Writ Petition is devoid of merits. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
