This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2.According to the petitioner, there is a property dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, thereby, the third respondent has lodged a complaint before the Tahsildar. Based on the report of the Tahsildar, the matter is now pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodaikanal. In the meantime, the third respondent has lodged a complaint before the second respondent. Taking advantage of the same, the second respondent harassed the petitioner on the guise of inquiry. Hence, this petition has been filed. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that there is a property dispute between the parties in respect of harvesting corps. The Revenue Divisional Officer has already passed an order in favor of the third respondent, against which, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the appellate authorities and the same is pending. In the meantime, the third respondent has lodged a complaint against the petitioner and the 2/5

same was closed after enquiry. The second respondent has called the petitioner only for enquiry. Apart from that they have not harassed the petitioner. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. 4.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to direct the respondents not to harass him on the guise of enquiry and the second respondent also denied the allegation of harassment and they have closed the enquiry based on the complaint given by the third respondent, nothing survives for further adjudication. Recording the above submission, this petition is closed.
