By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2.This petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to give police protection to conduct the festival in Sri.Vettrikonda Ayyanar, Sri Adaikkalam Kathan, Sri Nalu Kidai Karuppar Kovil situated at Pudur-Kulavaipatti Village, Kulavaipatti Iluppur Taluk, Pudukottai District to be held on 16.04.2021 to 05.05.2021.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondents would submit that in view of G.O.Ms.No.342, dated 08.04.2021, this petition has become infructuous and no direction will be passed.

5.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the fifth respondent is creating problem with regard to the celebration and the matter must be kept pending, so that the situation may change in the future. But the request cannot be considered in this stage and if any necessity arise in future, the petitioner is at liberty to move the Court for appropriate relief. 5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
