Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and his family during putting up fencing in Survey No.219/2.z1 to an extent of 0.00.65 Arce, located at Sengatupatti Village, Duraiyur Taluk, Tiruchirappalli based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2024 with due process of law. 1/4

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection for fencing his property situated in Sengatupatti Village, Trichy District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner wants to fence his property. The adjacent land owner is objecting for the same. Therefore, he seeks police protection. 3.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) takes notice for the official respondents and submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent police and the same has been registered in CSR No.246 of 2024 on 19.03.2024 and the enquiry would be completed within a reasonable time. 2/4
