When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.271 of 2016 was completed and charge sheet was filed in P.R.C.No.5 of 2017 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil.

2. In view of the submission so made, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Criminal Original Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
