ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in Crime No.5 of 2018 and seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the petitioner is working as Assistant Elementary Educational Officer at Peravurani and the defacto complainant is working as Headmaster in the Panchayat Union Elementary School, Velampatti and for disbursing the benefits and monetary reliefs of her deceased husband, who was working as a Teacher in the same Educational District, the petitioner has demanded money as bribe. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on her appearance before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on her executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Special Judge for Prevention of Corruption Act cases, Thanjavur at Kumbakonam, or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. for two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.
