PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to direct the Execution Court in Arbitration E.P.No.753 of 2021 on the file of the Additional District Judge, Trichirappalli to expeditiously dispose of the aforesaid execution petition within such a period as this Court may be pleased to fix and grant such other reliefs as this Court may be pleased to grant. ORDER

The present Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the learned Additional District Judge, Trichirappalli to dispose the Arbitration E.P.No.753 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible.

2. The petitioners are the judgment debtors in Arbitration Case No.SSM/SF/265 of 2019 passed by the learned Arbitrator. Pursuant to an award of the learned Arbitrator dated 28.08.2020, the petitioners have filed Arbitration E.P.No.753 of 2021 before the Commercial Court, Trichy to deposit the award amount together with interest. The said Arbitration E.P.No.753 of 2021 at the behest of the petitioners is pending since 18.01.2021. It is submitted that there is an interim order under Section 17 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act as a result of which there is attachment of property.

3. In view of the above, the present Civil Revision Petition stands allowed at the time of admission after dispensing with notice to the respondent as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against the respondent by directing the Additional District Court, Trichirappalli 2/4

officiating as Commercial Court, Trichirappalli to dispose of Arbitration E.P.No.753 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after due service of notice to the respondents if the notice has not already been served on the respondent. No costs.
