O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2.Though already several adjournments were given to the petitioner, he has not appeared before this Court through video conferencing till date.

3.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that on receipt of the complaint given by the third respondent dated 29.05.2020, the second respondent police initiated an enquiry in C.S.R.No.275 of 2020. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6075 of 2020 appeared and in the enquiry, the first petitioner has undertaken to take necessary steps to sell the land and after selling the said land, they returned back the amount of Rs.27,00,000/- to the third respondent on or before 27.09.2020. According the respondents 1 and 2, as of now, no petition/enquiry is pending against the petitioners.

4.In the said circumstances, since there is no enquiry pending against the petitioner, the question of harassment does not arise. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
