PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying this Court to call for the records pertaining to the case registered in First Information Report in Crime No.16 of 2020 dated 20.03.2020 on the file of the first respondent Police and quash the same as illegal as against the present petitioners herein. ORDER

This petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.16 of 2020 on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2.On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that investigation was over and a chargesheet was filed and the same was taken on file on 18.06.2021 and the name of the petitioners were removed from the chargesheet and the matter becomes infructuous.

3.In view of the submission made by the prosecution and since the name of the petitioners are already removed from the chargesheet, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
