ORDER
This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.299 of 2012 within the stipulated time.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even though F.I.R.has been registered in the year 2012, the respondent Police did not take any efforts to file a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.sode), on instructions, would submit that the respondent requires two months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.299 of 2012 before the Court concerned within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
