ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering the representation, dated 01.04.2021.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, because of the improper attitude and behavior of the fourth respondent, who is the student in the college run by the petitioner, she was suspended and a complaint has been given and repeatedly, summons were issued to the petitioner and under the guise of enquiry, the respondent police harassed the petitioner. The petitioner also moved anticipatory bail application twice before the Principal District Court, Thanjavur and on both the occasions, it was informed that no case was registered and on that basis, the applications were dismissed. But however, the respondent police is summoning and harassing him.

3.According to the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the fourth respondent has also given a complaint against the petitioner's college and both the enquiries are now pending. He would further submit that no question of giving police protection to the petitioner will arise.
