ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No. Not Known of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the defacto complainant. The defacto complainant lodged the complaint against the petitioner alleging that her husband is under illegal custody of the petitioner, when the same was questioned by her, the petitioner abused her with filthy language and threatened her with dire consequences.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.Heard the Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar District, or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m for two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.
