ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking direction to the 3rd respondent to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioner and her family members from the respondents 4 to 6.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken and thereafter, a case in Crime No.45 of 2023 was registered against the two persons. He further submitted that based upon the complaint given by the fifth respondent herein, enquiry was undertaken and a case in Crime No.144 of 2023 was registered against 2/4

the three persons including this petitioner also. At this stage granting of police protection does not arises. He further submitted that there is no life threat to the petitioner by the private respondents.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, nothing survives for further consideration in this matter. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
