PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to call for the records in correction with the S.C.No. 215 of 2025 pending on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Pudukottai, Pudukottai District and quash the same.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the sole accused in S.C.No.215 of 2025, on the file of the Principal District Court, Pudukottai, seeking to quash the charge sheet wherein the petitioner is charged with the offences under Sections 296(b), 351(2) and 324(2) of B.N.S.

2. Pending investigation, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant has agreed for quashing of the charge sheet. Today, the defeat the complainant is present in-person and he acknowledges the fact that he had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. Considering the above said facts, the charge sheet in S.C.No.215 of 2025 on the file of the Principal District Court, Pudukottai, is hereby quashed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo shall form part and parcel of the order. 25.03.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 2/4
