ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 294(b) and 506 (i) IPC and Section 4 of TNPWH Act, in Crime No.170 of 2018 and seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on 05.05.2018 when the defacto complainant went to the petitioner's street, the petitioner intercepted the defacto complainant, as a result of which, a quarrel arose between them and in the said melee, the petitioner is said to have attacked the defacto complainant and caused injury. He further submitted that injured has been discharged from the hospital. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that injured has been discharged from the hospital, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri, or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. for two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.
