[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2024 and consequently direct the respondent to renovate or construct a fully functional public shower room and toilet in Poonchuthi Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

2.Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that administrative sanction has been granted by the authorities concerned to renovate the Magalir Sugathara Building for water

source in Poonjuthi Panchayat and work order has also been issued and the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. 3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
