O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, to direct the fourth respondent to change the Town Survey land records in the name of the petitioner, consequent to a decree in Civil suit in O.S.No.1236 of 1987 by the District Munsif, Tiruchirapalli, by Judgment dated 10.12.2003 and consequent to a dismissal of A.S.No.29 of 2004 by the Principal Sub Court by Judgment dated 24.03.2008.

3.The petitioner herein had filed an online application seeking patta before the fourth respondent/ Tahsildar, Tiruchirapalli, but no orders has been passed on the said application.

4.A direction is given to the fourth respondent/ Tahsildar, Tiruchirapalli East, Tiruchirapalli to examine the online application filed by the petitioner and to examine whether consequent to the dismissal of decree of suit and dismissal of first appeal, any other civil proceedings are pending between the petitioner and rival claimants. Thereafter, take a decision either 2/4

to issue notice to the parties concerned or pass necessary orders. The said exercise should be completed within a period of 12 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
