Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to deposit the enhanced compensation amount as per the judgment passed in A.S.(MD).No.235 of 2019 within the time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to pay the enhanced compensation amount to the petitioner in terms of the judgment and decree dated 08.01.2021 passed in A.S.(MD).No.235 of 2019 by this Court.

2. As per the aforesaid judgment, the compensation was enhanced in favour of the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said compensation amount has not been deposited till date.

Pleader appearing for the respondents sought time to get instructions with regard to the same. Today, on instructions, he would submit that the respondents are willing to deposit the enhanced compensation amount as determined under the judgment and decree dated 08.01.2021 passed by this Court in A.S.(MD).No.235 of 2019. However, he would submit that sufficient time may be granted for the said purpose.

After recording the statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court directs the first respondent to deposit the compensation amount as determined by this Court in its judgment and decree dated 08.01.2021 passed in A.S.(MD).No.235 of 2019 in the bank account of the petitioner within a period of four

(4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Learned counsel for the petitioner is also agreeable for the same.

5. In terms of the above statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
