The petitioner has come forward with this petition praying to direct the respondents to provide police protection for surveying the property situated in Survey No.258/3C, Kurunthirakottai Village, Rajendrapuram Group, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case the 3rd respondent is directed to provide police protection to the petitioner for surveying the property situated in Survey No.258/3C, Kurunthirakottai Village, Rajendrapuram Group, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, if there are no legal impediments. It is made clear that before providing police protection for surveying the property in question, the 3rd respondent is directed to give an opportunity of hearing to the other persons, who are likely to be affected.
