O R D E R This petition has been filed seeking direction to the Respondent to provide adequate police protection to the Petitioner to carry out his business by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 04.02.2023.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by this petitioner namely Arunkumar stating that he was assaulted and abused in filthy language by some of the Villagers enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, finding that the issue arising between the Villagers and the petitioner, is with regard to running of the above said company in the disputed property. The matter was referred to the Revenue Officials, for arranging Peace Committee Meeting on 21.02.2023. But so far no such peace committee meeting is conducted. In the meantime the petition in Crl.M.P.NO.229 of 2023, has been filed before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vilathikulam and orders has been passed on 01.03.2023, directing the respondent to make enquiry and take action.

3.The respondent may proceed in accordance with law over the above said order. Let the peace committee meeting be conducted within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Let the petitioner participate in the peace committee meeting. Depending upon the outcome of the peace committee meeting, the parties can workout their remedy in the manner known to law. 4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
