ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 7 to take appropriate action against the respondents 8 to 10 for prohibiting the petitioner and his community people to enter into Arulmigu Kaliyamman Temple at E.Ramanathapuram, Elayirampannai Post, Vembakottai Taluk, Viruthunagar District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 12.03.2020. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that he, being a Scheduled Caste community, is prevented from entering into the temple.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 6, on instructions, would submit that all the people were permitted to enter into the temple, the festival also conducted on 13.11.2020 and the report also filed in this regard. 4.As the petitioner ventilated his grievance prevented from entering into the temple, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to give necessary protection, whenever there is a discrimination or prevention of the particular community to enter into the temple and no one claim right to prevent others from worshipping in the temple. 5.In such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to see that no such untoward incidents happen on the ground of caste discrimination. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
