This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent, the Inspector of Police, Ambasamudram Police Station, Tirunelveli District to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police would give police protection only to the life and limb of the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submission made by the learned Government

Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to give police protection only to the life and limb of the petitioner and his father, after considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2016.
