This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to restrain them from harassing the petitioner and her family members and to direct the first respondent to take action against the eighth and ninth respondents who are all misused their official position as police and complete the enquiry based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2025.
2.According to the petitioner, the husband of the petitioner and others went to a temple at Vedasanthur, at that time, the private respondents restrained them and they arrested the petitioner's husband and others and they were produced before the learned Magistrate at 03.00 am and they locked her husband for more than 22 hours along with other persons. The respondents also came to the petitioner's house and threatened the petitioner as well as family members at about 03.45 am and without any reasons they trespassed into the petitioner's house and forced the petitioner not to participate in any event of Hindu munnai. When the same was refused by the petitioner, they threatened her and damaged the vehicle. The respondent police also arrested the woman 3/7
without following the procedures and violated the fundamental rights. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation dated 10.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the seventh respondent registered a case against the petitioner's husband and others in Crime No.86 of 2025 and also seized the vehicle and the same was already remanded to the judicial custody before the concerned Magistrate and the allegations levelled by the petitioner are false, however the petitioner's representation is under consideration and the same will be considered and appropriate action will be taken after conducting an elaborate enquiry.
4.The learned Counsel for the fourth respondent would submit that they received the petitioner's representation, dated 10.03.2025. Since the prayer is only to take action against the police officials, the first respondent has to take appropriate steps in this regard. 5.Heard both sides and perused the records.

6.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to consider the representation and to take action against the respondents 8 and 9 and the respondents also admitted the receipt of the petitioner's representation and the same is under consideration, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and take appropriate action, after enquiry by affording opportunity to both the parties, in accordance with law. 7.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. 14.03.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR To
