This criminal original petition is filed by the first accused in C.C.No.141 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti, seeking for a direction to complete the trial within the time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and perused the records.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that the prosecution has already examined P.W.1 and the case now stands posted on 16.11.2016 for examination of witnesses P.W.2 and P.W.3 and the prosecution may complete the trial within a period of three months time.

4. Considering the submission and the facts of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.141 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible, preferably on or before 31.01.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
