Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Directing the respondents to revise the pay of the petitioner with effect from 1.1.2016 notionally and to pay difference in salary with implement from 1.10.2017 and to pay the difference in pension with effect from the date of retirement of the petitioner together with interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum in terms of 7th pay commission recommendations for revision of pay as per G.O.Ms.No.134, Transport (D) Department dated 9.4.2018 within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

The contempt petition has been filed by the writ petitioner stating that the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No. 84 of 2020 dated 07.01.2020 has not been complied with by the respondents.

2. When this contempt petition came up for consideration, Mr.Balasubramanian, learned Standing Counsel, took notice on behalf of the respondents and sought time for reporting compliance.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents produced a proceedings of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Kumbakonam) Limited, Karaikudi Region, dated 15.11.2021 that as per the order of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.84 of 2020 dated 07.01.2020, they have paid the pay difference of gratuity and difference of leave salary. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also confirmed the same.

4. Recording the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Contempt Petition is closed.
