ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to initiate proceedings under Section 78 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 (herein after referred as 'the Act') against the fourth respondent pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 22.03.2022.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.V.Chandrasekar, learned counsel representing the third respondent would submit that already proceedings under Section 78 of the Act has been initiated and referred to the second respondent.

3. In light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to pass orders under Section 78 of the act within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
