ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he is a school teacher and he had entered into an agreement with the fourth respondent/ building contractor for construction of a house. The fourth respondent has not constructed in accordance with terms and conditions of the contract and so, he lodged a complaint as against the fourth respondent. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6220 of 2020 instance of the fourth respondent, the respondent police is harassing the petitioner as if the petitioner is due of a sum of Rs.11,00,000/- towards the fourth respondent. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the respondent police has registered a case as against the petitioner on the complaint of the fourth respondent in Crime No.1023 of 2020 on 13.06.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(ii), 406 and 420 of IPC and the matter is under investigation.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that a criminal case has been registered as against the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
