This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners under the guise of the enquiry on the complaint of one Parveen Banu. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that one Parveen Banu is said to have lodged a false complaint against her husband, namely, A.Kadhar Oli for dowry harassment. However, under the guise of enquiry, the second respondent often calls the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioners and threatened them by saying that he is going to foist a false case against them unless they concede the demands of the de-facto complainant. The petitioners have not impleaded the de-facto complainant.
3. The learned Government Advocate would submit, on instructions, that no complaint has been received by the said Parveen Banu against the petitioners and the petitioners were never called for any enquiry in connection with the alleged complaint.
4. Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. It is needless to say that even if the respondent police requires the presence of the petitioners for any enquiry, the same shall be done only after issuing summons in the manner known to law.
