O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members, on the property comprised in S.No.32/4F situated at plot no.3, Sanjivi Nagar, Kudul Nagar, Kudul Pudhur, Madurai District, considering the representations of the petitioner dated 11.02.2021 and 01.04.2021.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner constructed additional structures to the above said property. For the above process, the petitioner appointed the fourth respondent to maintain the finance and expenditure and also transferred Rs.12,00,000/- to the fourth respondent to maintain the construction. After the completion of the work, the petitioner approached the fourth respondent requesting the balance amount, wherein, the fourth respondent not only refused to return the balance amount but also threatened the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 07.02.2021 to the third respondent. Since, there was no action, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 11.02.2021 to the second respondent. Since again, there was no fruitful action, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 01.04.2021 to the first respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondents have not taken any action on his representations, so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking police protection.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.5506 of 2021 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.04.2021 will be considered by the respondent police.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2021 by following the due process of law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
