ORDER : This Civil Miscellaneous Petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. K. RAMAIAH, Advocate for the petitioner, while admitting the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, the court made the following order:- 1/3

Interim stay of the operation of the impugned fair and decreetal order dated 01.08.2022 made in M.C.O.P.No.72 of 2019 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Principal District Court, Karur, is granted on condition that the appellant TNSTC shall deposit 50% of the award amount together with proportionate interest and cost, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the interim stay granted shall stand automatically vacated without further reference to this Court.
