PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying this Court to call for the records relating to the proceedings in C.C.No.161 of 2014 on the file of the learned Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and quash the same as against the petitioners/accused Nos.1, 2 and 3.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up today for hearing, the petitioners and the second respondent are present along with their respective counsels and represented that the matter has been settled between the parties. Since the dispute is between the family members, both the defacto complainant and the petitioners stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and they have no objection in quashing the charge sheet in C.C.No.161 of 2014 pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and they have filed joint compromise memo to that effect.

2.In view of the said compromise, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the charge sheet as against the petitioners in C.C.No.161 of 2014, pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai is hereby quashed and the joint compromise shall form part of this order.
