Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent herein to rectify the technical issue that is "Land not verified" in the District E-Service Centre, Tirunelveli in respect of Survey number in T.S.W.BD, B2, T.S.No.14/1, 15/1 and T.S.W.BD, B2, T.S.No.22/3, 22/4, 23/6, 23/8, 23/3, 14/3, 14/4, 18/1 at Panayankulam Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 30.04.2021 and 20.12.2021.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the third respondent to upload the mutated patta for the petitioner's property in the District E-Service Centre website based on the petitioner's representations dated 30.04.2021 and 20.12.2021 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the property comprised in T.S.W.BD, B2, T.S.Nos.14/1, 15/1 and T.S.W.BD, B2, T.S.Nos.22/3, 22/4, 23/6, 23/8, 23/3, 14/3, 14/4, 18/1 situated at Panayankulam Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District. According to him, he has also mutated the revenue records in his name. However, it is the case of the petitioner that, in the District E-Service Centre website, the mutation of the revenue records in his name has not been uploaded. In such circumstances, he has given representations dated 30.04.2021 and 20.12.2021 to the official respondents. Since the said representations have not been considered till date, he has filed this Writ Petition.

3. Heard Mr.S.Velrajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representations, as stated supra, are considered on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this Court directs the third and fourth respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 30.04.2021 and 20.12.2021 seeking for uploading the mutation of the revenue records pertaining to the petitioner's property in the website of the District E-Service Centre, Tirunelveli and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
