ORDER
The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of his appeal pending on the file of the first respondent right from August 2023.
2. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, with the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. Challenging the issuance of patta to the respondents 3 & 4, the petitioner has preferred an appeal petition before the first respondent on 28.08.2023.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the said appeal was taken on file on 09.10.2023, the same has not been disposed of for more than 1 1/2 years.
5. In view of the above, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal petition dated 28.08.2023, on merits, in accordance with law, within a 2/4
period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the respondents 3 & 4.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
