(M).Confdl No.13/2026, dated 05.02.2026 and quash the same as illegal and produce the detenue namely Esakki, S/o.Thetchinamoorthy, aged about 36 years, now he is confined in Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) The petitioner is the wife of the detenu, by name, Esakki, S/o.Thetchinamoorthy, aged about 36 years. The detenu has been detained by the third respondent by his order in M.H.S.(M).Confdl No.13/2026, dated 05.02.2026 holding him to be a "Black Marketer", as contemplated

under the Provisions of Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Central Act No.7 of 1980). The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the detention order itself has been revoked by the Advisory Board.
