Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS or any other appropriate WRIT or ORDER or DIRECTION in the nature of the WRIT directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Padmanabhapuram, the third respondent herein to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 30.09.2025, pertaining to the lands of the petitioner to an extent of about 15 cents out of 63.50 Ares comprised in

Re-Survey No.93/9, Painkulam Village, Ananthamangalam, Killiyoor Taluk and Kanniyakumari District, and to cancel sub divisions made thereon, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Revenue Divisional Officer, Padmanabhapuram, the third respondent herein to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 30.09.2025, pertaining to the lands of the petitioner to an extent of about 15 cents out of 63.50 Ares comprised in Re-Survey No.93/9, Painkulam Village, Ananthamangalam, Killiyoor Taluk and Kanniyakumari District, and to cancel sub divisions made thereon, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner has preferred an appeal before the 3rd respondent as early as 30.09.2025 and the same is pending. The 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's appeal and pass appropriate orders in accordance to law after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 5th respondent. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
